There's been a Mourning Warbler in the brush along the creek in the back yard singing on and off all day today. I got a really nice look at him. This is a bird that is common in its central canadian nesting grounds, but quite secretive and hard to see even there. Down here it's a very hard-to-spot migrant. I've never had such a good view of one before.
